A Woman and Her Dog

Sometimes you see someone and you’re immediately drawn to them. You don’t know why, nor do you care. If you have your camera with you, you become intent on photographing this person.

So as to not arouse suspicion, you begin taking random pictures of the lake, the boats, the crowd. You watch her and when she doesn’t notice you, when she’s looking out at the water, lost in her thoughts, you turn your camera toward her and press the shutter button.

And then you blog about it and call it A Woman and Her Dog.
